Show Preview – War and Peace Revival 2016

War and Peace Preview

The War and Peace Revival is upon us, and we’re now all set up and ready for the show. For anyone coming along later in the week, here’s what you can expect.

The War and Peace Revival is the largest gathering of Military Vehicles in the world. It’s massive! There’s loads of displays, a whole racecourse field of re-enactors and plenty of entertainment throughout the week. With the shows taking place over 5 days, there’s just about enough time to see everything! I’ve only been to War and Peace twice, but as a company we’ve attended something like the last 7 years (we’ve started to lose count – our first War and Peace was before my time at Epic anyway!). You can check out the site map here to start planning your time and seeing what there is in store. We will be on pitches H7&9 like the last few years, and we’ll have the banner up as well so we should be easy to find!

The entertainment timetable is packed. I’m personally looking forward to the Wednesday and Thursday evenings, which are 1950’s Rockabilly Night and German Bierkeller Night. There are also of course loads of displays and vehicle convoys, as well as flyovers from a replica Spitfire, Hurricane and ME-109. There’s also loads of trade stalls (including us of course!), a motorcycle ride out, vintage marketplace, battles in the main arena, book signings…the list is endless!

We will of course be bringing as much stuff as we can with us. We will have Panzerschrecks and Panzerfausts. We will have as big a selection of uniforms as we can fit in the stall. We will have loads! We are hoping to get a couple of extra bits sent down to us during the week, but we still recommend getting to the stall earlier rather than later to make sure you’re not disappointed, as for some things we can only bring 1 of each size.

The weather has been good so far, and promises to stay nice for the week. We hope everyone already here is set up and enjoying themselves so far. We look forward to chatting to you all over the course of the week, and also meeting anyone coming later in the week.
