As we near the end of our summer show season, we’re gearing up for our longest show of all – the War and Peace Revival. As per previous years, the show is in Kent but this year it’s returning to its original venue – Hop Farm Family Park in Paddock Wood. We’re looking forward to the week so much, we’ve decided to write a post so you can get excited too!
After our previous packed schedule this summer, the team here at Epic are like a well-oiled show machine. Over the past week, we’ve been getting ready for the War and Peace Revival and we’re glad we’ve saved this show till last. Here are some of the main things you can look forward to next week.
Firstly, War and Peace will be returning to its original home at Hop Farm. This will be a great venue with plenty of space to pack in the myriad of events the show will be hosting over the week. In addition to the main Arena, there will be marques for entertainment, a model village and multiple catering units dotted around the site. This year, there’s even a handy app so you can keep track of all the events.
Secondly, the show will host one of the largest collections of military vehicles in the world. The program includes tracked and wheeled armour, desert fighting vehicles, emergency service vehicles, plus jeeps, off-road vehicles and many more! The main arena will play host to displays including Axis vs Allies, Soviet, desert warfare and many other events. What will make the experience even better is the great number of re-enactment groups attending. Ranging from WW2 German units right up to the modern day, there will be a group to please everyone. As if this wasn’t enough, the show will include an impressive list of singers and performers so there’ll be plenty of entertainment to choose from.
Finally, of course, you can look forward to seeing Epic Militaria with all our great products and our friendly show team! This year, we’ve got a brand new flag to vamp up our stall, not to mention lots of new products. Amongst other things, we’ll be bringing our popular WW2 Road Signs so make sure you swing by and grab yourself one too! As always, we’ll have a wide selection of WW2 uniforms, equipment and insignia as well as modern gear and clothing. We’re sure that whatever you’re looking for, we’ll have something to meet your needs! We always love meeting our customers in person and getting to know them so come and visit us at our stall – we’re at B5-B6 on the traders’ field.
It’s shaping up to be a great week and we’re looking forward to seeing you there!
